A day to learn, connect, and launch your journey in neuromorphic organic devices.
With the 2025 edition of the NOD Workshop, the NOD Steering Committee has decided to introduce a new initiative: the NOD Foundations Day. This pre-workshop event, held on October 7 at Center for the Science of Material Berlin (CSMB, Campus Adlershof, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), is dedicated to supporting early-career researchers, students, and newcomers in the field of neuromorphic organic devices.
This one-day event offers a gentle yet insightful introduction to the science, technology, and community behind neuromorphic organic devices.
It is designed to support researchers who are:
In the early stages of their careers (PhD, Master’s, Postdocs)
Coming from adjacent disciplines (materials science, bioelectronics, device physics, etc.)
Curious about how to get involved in neuromorphic research
A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere to ask questions and meet peers
Introductory talks by leading scientists
Tutorial-style sessions on materials, devices, and modeling
Career tips & mentoring for early-career researchers
Community networking and informal discussion sessions
We encourage all participants interested in this day to plan their arrival for October 6, as NOD Foundations Day will take place one day before (October 7) the main NOD 2025 Workshop.
It’s free to attend, but space may be limited — registration details will follow.
