You can reach the hotel by car via Autobahn A17, taking the ‘Pirna/Bad Schandau’ exit. Then take the B172 for approx. 20 km towards Bad Schandau. The Hotel Elbresidenz is located in the town centre, directly at Markt 1-11.
You don't have to worry about finding a parking space with the Hotel Elbresidenz: there is a underground car park at the hotel (parking space: €18/night).

Take the S-Bahn S2 towards Pirna from Dresden Airport train station until Dresden Neustadt. The trains run every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 12 minutes.
At Dresden Neustadt, transfer to a S-Bahn S1 towards Schöna. The trains run every 30 minutes and the journey to Bad Schandau takes approximately 50 minutes.
At Bad Schandau station, head northeast towards the Elbe and the ferry. Use the ferry to cross the River Elbe. Get off at the Elbkai stop (journey time approx. 7 min). The ticket is included in your S-Bahn ticket; you just have to show it to the captain.
The hotel is located directly at this ferry landing stage.
Check the exact departure time for your trains at the DB Timetable. Depature-Station is „DRS Dresden Airport“, Arrival-Station is „Bad Schandau, Elbresidenz Bad Schandau (Hotel)“.
